"I called Rick's team to investigate a leak coming from my chimney. They came promptly and noted a problem on the chimney, which they were able to fix straight away. Rick clearly explained what the problem was and told me to keep an eye on the place where the leak first appeared as there could be further problems on the chimney which may cause further leaks and may require more extensive works. So far, things have been OK, and I am grateful to Rick and his team for their prompt intervention, which was also reasonably priced."
"Real attention to detail, and problem solving. Good communication, and a quality result with a fair price. Rick Squires and his team were professional and reliable and as a repeat customer I strongly recommend them."

"Steer clear! Very rude customer service. I called asking for a rough estimate of cost to replace a slate roof in for a 1930's semi in Exeter. Rather than asking questions to gather more information and help me, the woman on the line immediately started complaining that she didn't know where I was calling from, didn't know where the house was, and so couldn't possibly provide me with any information. I told her I would be happy to answer any questions she had. When I told her I was based in Exeter, she then cattily remarked, "Exeter is a big place," but didn't bother asking where I was located. I suspect this woman simply did not like me because I don't have a British accent and therefore sound foreign. Shame, as I would have been willing to bring them thousands of pounds in business to replace my roof if she had been polite. I am surprised and disappointed by this level of poor customer service, and can only imagine the further issues I might encounter if I tried to work with this business!"
