"Obviously dont want business. Didnt reply to web enquiry. Called them and spoke to a man called John. Was told to email. Did so and chased 3 times and still nothing. Doesn't bode well for doing business with them. Do yourself a favour and avoid."

"Due to rising damp we needed out kitchen/diner tanked. The surveyor who came out was helpful and explained the whole process, recommended we replaced the kitchen at the same time. We decided to as it needed updating anyway. Agreed the price quoted and accepted the ten days for the work to be carried out. It was agreed that we would have water downstairs in the kitchen every evening. All well so far....... After five days of snails pace progress we waited at home (we had been leaving for work before they arrived) to discover that one worker arrived about 10 am and left by 3.30/4 pm. After a long and protracted discussion it was agreed that an extra worker would be on the job. Weeks passed and progress was unbelievably slow. This entire time we had a new kitchen and appliances delivered at the time requested and no water/oven/hob/washing machine. Plaster was poured down the drain causing it to flood during downpours. We contacted the owner of the business who agreed a meeting at our property. He was aggressive and confrontational, suggested he should charge more money because "we had bought the wrong kitchen" and would not finish it unless we paid more. Needless to say we disagreed! Eventually a couple of extra workers were placed on our job and they finished a full six weeks after starting. We had to point out the snags in order for them to finish and the entire process was exhausting and a stressful. We then had to wait a full two months for the insurance documents to be forwarded to us that we had paid for. Do not use this company. The owner is difficult to contact, abusive and aggressive. Communication is almost non existent both via the phone or email. do not waste your money, find another company."

"Would not recommend this company. The owner is incredibly rude and intimidating though one of the builders working under him seemed a genuine guy. Gave an initial quote for the work that needed doing but this increased massively with little explanation. Communication was bad throughout. Avoid at all costs."

"Had a lot done by the team, Chimney breast removed roof down, plumbing work, cable trunking, fencing, concreting, decorating and certainly more to follow! Too job every time, great team of guys!"

"We used Orchard to treat a small amount of woodworm in the loft of our bungalow. We moved in a year ago and had the place re plumbed and re wired. The Electricians and plumbers had played havoc with the loft insulation which was already in a very sorry state. Orchards crew cleared out all the old insulation, cleaned and vacuumed the loft, then treated the woodworm and all the other roof timbers. They then fitted a very thick layer of new insulation to the whole loft and relayed the loft boarding. This was all done in two days with the minimum of disruption. This was done for what we would consider a very reasonable price. Highly recommended Val in Wellington Somerset"
